Support & Frequently Asked Questions

We are so sorry, please use the contact form and we will get this rectified for you as quickly as possible.

Please check that you haven’t assembled the frame upside down. Does the frame curve down? Are the stickers reading the correct way up?

If not, please disassemble the front forks and steering, turn the frame over and reassemble.

If yes, please contact us using the contact form and we will help.

As a general rule Banana Bikes are suitable for 2-5 year olds.  If your child is already 4 years old they may get limited use from the bike.  2-3 years is the sweet spot where kids are ready to ride and will get good use out of the bike.  At about 4.5 years your child will likely be ready to move up to a pedal bike.

We suggest that the bike is suitable up to 110cm (43.3") tall.

Max weight is rated at 25Kg (55 Lbs).

Please undo the wheel nuts, centre the wheel and gradually tighten the nuts gradually at the same time to ensure the wheel is centred between the forks.

No, the bikes are only designed to be balance bikes, powered by feet.  The additional weight, cost, shipping and taxes would make them uncompetitive and take the bikes away from their core use.

You can find the batch number for your bike on the Safety Sticker on the frame.  The batch number starts BB...

No, this is part of the packaging, to stop the wheel nut damaging the box in transit. It is not part of the bike.

If you need further assistance, please complete the form on our contact us page.

Please provide as much information as you can.

We don’t currently sell these, but there are many aftermarket options. We use an industry standard handlebar diameter of 22.2mm.

Please search for “kids bike grips 22.2mm”, grips that are about 100mm wide are ideal.
